No matter what, you absolutely should be trying to wake up at the same time every day and this is easiest if you are also going to bed at the same time every day. Yes, this also includes days when you don’t have to work or have nothing to do! The consistency is what matters the most.
Even if you tried those and they didn’t happen to do the trick for you, there are other things that you still may want to try at home to help your sleep become better. One thing that is commonly discussed for people with sleeping trouble is what they are eating or drinking during the day and especially right before bed. You want to avoid alcohol, caffeine, and harsh foods especially. Each of these types of things are going to be causing a negative effect in terms of your body and your brain reactions.
One other thing that you may want to try is getting some more exercise during the daytime. You won’t want to workout right before bed because this can actually make you more awake, but doing so during the day is a great idea to help make you tired at night. It’s also going to just help you be healthier in general, which is something that a lot of us work toward anyway!
